Use cases

The builds your clients request, simplified by Syncio

Run separate B2B and DTC portals with shared inventory

Your client wants wholesale buyers to see different pricing, payment terms, order minimums and products, without compromising the retail experience. So you create separate storefronts for B2B and DTC.

Syncio keeps the inventory behind both stores aligned.

Launch international stores without duplicating operations

Your client wants to expand into new markets with localised currencies, pricing, content, payment methods and shipping rules.

Syncio centralises inventory across regional storefronts, keeping stock levels in sync while letting each market control the details that should remain local.

Test new categories, product lines or sub-brands

Your client wants to open another store to test a new audience or category without impacting their flagship store.

Syncio lets you copy specific products to the expansion store, and customise branding, pricing and content while syncing with the flagship's stock pool.

Integrate Shopify and WooCommerce stores

Some clients need Shopify and WooCommerce stores to run side by side during a phased migration. Others deliberately use different platforms across brands, regions or business units.

Syncio can copy or map products between Shopify and WooCommerce stores and keep their inventory levels aligned while both remain active.

Build a multi-vendor or dropshipping operation

Your client wants to import and sell products from several brands. Instead of building a custom dropshipping portal, you can sync their Shopify store directly to their suppliers' Shopify stores through Syncio.

Help brands sell through retail and distribution partners

Your client wants to expand beyond their own storefront by supplying independent retailers, dropshippers or marketplaces on Shopify.

Syncio lets brands share their products and real-time inventory with other Shopify stores.

How Syncio works

A simple model your whole team can explain

1

Assign a role to each store

Syncio syncs stores based on roles. Every store is either a Source store or a Destination store.

Source store

  • Holds the master inventory — usually the client's main store, central catalog, or supplier store.
  • Typically the store that fulfils and ships orders.

Destination store

  • Sells from that inventory — likely an expansion store or dropshipper.
  • Chooses products to import, or maps existing products by SKU.
2

Import or map products

Products are copied or mapped across from the Source to the Destination. Destination stores can choose specific products or bulk-select all, then click 'Sync'

Real-time stock sync

From here, synced products share one live stock count across both stores. Sell it on either side, and the quantity instantly updates for both.

The same sync, at any scale

Connect as many Source and Destination stores as a setup needs, in any combination. Sell that product anywhere it's synced, and every connected store updates.

Features

Keep more than inventory connected

Product settings
  • Keep product data from the Source store in ongoing sync, so any changes are automatically applied to every connected Destination store.
  • Choose specific fields to keep in sync – including titles, images, prices, tags, vendors, variants.
Metafields
  • Select which metafield definitions and values Syncio should copy and keep updated.
  • Mapped by namespace and key, with changed values checked every 60 minutes.
Orders
  • Destination orders containing synced products can be forwarded to the Source, manually or automatically.
  • Fulfilment status and tracking sync back once the order ships.
Payouts
  • Set commissions by store or by product.
  • Account for shipping, tax, and processing fees automatically.
  • Get one shared record of what each store is owed.
Multi-location support
  • Share inventory from a single Source location, or combine several into one shared stock pool.
  • Assign each connection to a specific Destination inventory location.
Universal store
  • Import products from connected suppliers.
  • Share its own products with retailers, at the same time.
  • Built for marketplaces, distributors, and brands that need both.
